The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved the new FCC Forms 470 and 471 on October 27th, 2014. This marks another step in the process of making these forms available for applicants to use for the Funding Year 2015 E-rate application process.
Now that the forms have been approved by the OMB, the FCC should be able to make the Form 470 available for applicant use shortly, and have the Form 471 ready for applicants to use by the beginning of the FY 2015 E-rate filing window. Per USAC guidance from their applicant training sessions and weekly news brief, E-rate applicants can currently use the FY 2014 version of the FCC Form 470 for all tariff, month-to-month or contracted services, until the FY 2015 version of the form is made available.
