According to USAC, it lacks $400 million of necessary funding in order to issue commitments to all potentially fundable 90% requests in the Internal Connections and Basic Maintenance service categories.

During the USAC meeting, it was mentioned that the FCC should notify USAC by June 30th about how much in rollover funding the FCC would authorize for use towards these requests. On May 5, Funds For Learning reported that USAC has approximately $1 billion in unused funds from previous years available for possible rollover use
