The SLD released wave 46 for Funding Year 2006 committing $11.6 million. Approximately $2.5 million was tied to internal connections requests at the 87% discount threshold and above. The SLD has committed $1,808,687,329 and has $913,450,933 pending in FY 2006 requests.
The SLD has over $113 million pending at the 87% threshold of which over $100 million is directly tied to one large urban school district. While the SLD has not indicated when the discount may drop below 87%, hopefully once processing has begun on this school district's funding requests, the SLD will lower the discount threshold further.
