The SLD this week released a small funding wave committing nearly $6.2 million and notifying 37 applicants and 118 service providers about the status of their FY 2006 requests. The SLD has committed $1,776,024,912 and has $956,912,039 pending in FY 2006 applications.
The SLD still has $113.5 million pending at the 87% discount level for internal connections and basic maintenance. To date $170.5 million has been denied at the 87% discount rate and above. There is no indication when the SLD will begin funding priority two commitments below the 87% level.
