The SLD released funding wave 42 for FY 2006 committing over $38.5 million. Close to $13 million was committed for priority two requests. In FY 2006 the SLD has committed $1,762,341,784 and has $971,196,018 pending. There is no indication when USAC may lower the discount threshold for priority two requests below 87%.
The SLD also released funding wave 66A for FY 2005 committing nearly $5.2 million notifying 30 applicants and 38 service providers about their 2005 applications. The SLD has committed $2,053,083,171 and still has $249,923,367 pending for FY 2005. The SLD will no longer be releasing regular FY 2005 funding waves, but will do so as applications are processed.
