The SLD notified 1,262 applicants and 770 service providers of the status of their 2005 funding commitments this week in Wave 41. The SLD committed $29,624,218.68 with $20,384,474.04 going for priority two (internal connections and basic maintenance) requests. The SLD is still funding the priority two discounts at the 88% discount threshold. The total 2005 committed amount is $1,483,011,536 with $1,063,391,156 still pending.
Two schools in Louisiana and one school in Mississippi that were part of the special Katrina 2005 filing window were funded this week. The Katrina commitments to date total $151,653.90.
