On November 23rd the SLD notified close to 600 service providers and nearly 800 applicants the status of their 2005 funding requests. The SLD committed $27.9 million of which $4.3 million was for internal connections and $237,000 was for basic maintenance. The SLD still has close to $2 billion still pending in 2005.
The SLD released another small 2004 funding wave notifying 6 applicants of their 2004 requests totaling $8.8 million. The SLD has committed close to $2.3 billion and has $264 million pending 2004 funding requests.
