USAC Still Estimates $365 Million in Rollover Funds For Future Years

In the quarterly USAC filing to the FCC, USAC still projects $365 million from previous years can be rolled over to increase the overall pot in future years. The analysis is based on USAC having enough resources to cover any outstanding invoices or appeals.

In the quarterly USAC filing to the FCC, USAC still projects $365 million from previous years can be rolled over to increase the overall pot in future years. The analysis is based on USAC having enough resources to cover any outstanding invoices or appeals.

USAC estimates that it has:

  • $15 million available from FY 1999
  • $200 million available from FY 2002
  • $150 million available from FY 2003

As of September 30, 2005, USAC has no pending applications in Funding Years 1998-2000. Down below is the number of potentially funded applications that are still under review.

  • FY 2001 – 2 potentially fundable applications (down from 4 from the last quarterly report)
  • FY 2002 – 24 potentially fundable applications (down from 30 from the last quarterly report)
  • FY 2003 – 49 potentially fundable applications (down from 72 from the last quarterly report)
  • FY 2004 – 213 potentially fundable applications (down from 447 from the last quarterly report)
