Today the Schools and Libraries Division announced during its training session for E-rate stakeholders that Wave 16 will contain much-anticipated funding commitments for Internal Connections. In mid-August, USAC made the recommendation to set the Internal Connections funding threshold at 87%, but the current threshold approved by the FCC is 90%. Details about the amount of money to be committed and the number of applicants/service providers that will be notified when the wave is released are not clear at this time.
