On September 1st the SLD committed $31 million for Funding Year 2005 and $16 million for Funding Year 2004. That brings the total 2005 committed amount to $577,603,136 and the total 2004 committed amount to $2,287,470,872. Once E-rate applicants receive their funding commitment decision letters they need to ensure that the payment paperwork is filed in a timely manner. The Form 486 is a moving deadline and if this critical deadline is missed your funding requests will get reduced.
