Next 2002 Funding Commitment Wave Due in Mid-June

The Schools and Libraries Division announced June 2 that it plans to issue the next wave of 2002 Funding Commitment Decision Letters during the week of June 16. The SLD had announced earlier that it would issue additional commitment letters every two weeks until the process is complete. However, its last 2002 commitment wave was in mid-May. Thus far, the SLD has approved just under $2.2 billion worth of funding commitments for funding year 2002. To date, nearly 29,400 commitment letters have been released.
