The Schools and Libraries Division announced Dec. 28 that it has begun distributing funding commitments for Year 4 internal connections requests for applicants with discount rates of as low as 88 percent.
An SLD official said the division could not say exactly how much money would be committed in this latest wave, number 11. That information will be available on Jan. 3, when details of the funding commitments are posted to the SLD's Web site.
Previously, the SLD had been able to approve funding requests only for applicants with discount rates of 90 percent. The SLD has not yet determined whether it will be able to fund internal connections requests from applicants with discount rates as low as 85 percent. Those requests are still pending.
