The Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) picked up the pace when they issued $46.7 million in funding commitments July 14, a welcomed increase after only $17.8 million the previous week. The total amount of discounts committed through Wave 14 for Program Year 3, which began July 1, 2000, has nearly reached $1.1 billion with several more funding waves to come.
Internal connections funding continues to be awarded to only those applicants with discount rates of 85 percent or higher.
