The Schools and Libraries Corporation has announced that a toll-free number has been set up for service providers who need to acquire a Service Provider Identification Number as part of the E-rate program. The new number is 888-641-8722. Operators will be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time.
