On September 14, USAC issued the seventeenth funding wave of funding year 2010, approving over $31.64 million in funding requests. This funding wave included 307 applicants with an average funding commitment of $103,059.55. There were also 346 service providers included in the funding wave, averaging $91,1443.01 per request. Denied requests totaled $4.86 million for 101 applicants. To date, USAC has approved over $1.2 billion in E-rate funding commitments for FY10.
