With the twenty-first funding wave of Funding Year 2010, USAC approved over $32.2 million for funding on 865 requests from 273 applicants. The average funding commitment per applicant was $114,540.03. The funding wave also included 354 service providers averaging $88,331.72 per request. The funding wave denied requests for 228 applicants, totaling $7.4 million. With this funding wave, to date for FY 2010, USAC has approved over $1.4 billion in E-rate funding commitments.
