USAC issued the fortieth wave of Funding Year 2010 on March 1, 2011. Funding wave 040 included commitments for both Priority One and Priority Two services with a total commitment amount of $14.7 million and denials of $3.3 million. This funding wave included 106 applicants averaging $138,920.84 and 146 service providers averaging $100,860.33, per funding request. Including this wave, USAC has approved over $2.3 billion in E-rate funding commitments for FY10.
