USAC issued the forty-first funding wave of Funding Year 2010 on March 8, 2010. Funding wave 041 included commitments for both priority one and priority two requests, totaling over $31 million for 608 approved funding requests. This latest funding wave represented 172 applicants, averaging $180,710.29 per approved applicant request and 244 service providers, averaging $127,385.94 per approved request from service providers. Wave 041 resulted in the denial of 130 requests, totaling $4.75 million. Funding commitments for funding year 2010 have surpassed $2.3 billion for Funding Year 2010.
