USAC issued the forty-third funding wave of Funding Year 2010 on March 23, 2011. Funding wave 043 included commitments for both priority one and priority two requests, totaling over $15 million for 429 approved funding requests. This latest funding wave represented 89 applicants, averaging $178,186.89 per approved applicant request and 178 service providers, averaging $89,093.44 per approved request from service providers. Wave 043 resulted in the denial of 90 requests, totaling $1.6 million. Funding commitments for funding year 2010 have nearly reached the $2.4 billion mark for Funding Year 2010.
