On September 21, the SLD will release the first Funding Year 2010 wave that will include Priority Two applications at the 80% discount level. According to a Funds For Learning analysis, there currently are 1,331 applicants that have P2 applications pending at the 80% discount level, totaling $266.9 million.
On August 22, the FCC authorized USAC to fund all FY 2010 Priority Two applications regardless of discount percentage. It is expected that the SLD will continue to release funding waves with P2 commitments at 80% and below in the coming weeks.
