On August 6, 2012, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin appointed Funds For Learning CEO John Harrington as a member of the Oklahoma Statewide Virtual Charter School Board. The Statewide Virtual Charter School Board was created to provide oversight of the operations of a statewide virtual charter school, as well as to “establish policies and procedures for student admissions eligibility, student transfers, approval of online courses, and student enrollment.”
