FNPRM Comments Due September 15th

Comments on the FCC’s Further Notice of Proposed Rule Making (FNPRM) are due on September 15th, 2014. The FNPRM was released as part of the 7th Report and Order on July 23rd, 2014.

The FCC is seeking further comment on the following issues:

administrative burdens of the program on applicants
potential, beneficial adjustments to the program or rule changes
steps to further address the goals of the 7th Report and Order
determining the appropriate level of funding for the E-rate program

E-rate stakeholders can submit comments regarding the FNPRM using the FCC Electronic Comment Filing System under WC Docket No. 13-184

Reply comments will be due by September 30th, 2014.
