On June 18, 2015, Senator Angus King and Senator Shelley Moore Capito introduced the Digital Learning Equity Act in the U.S. Senate. The bill is designed to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative strategies and methods to increase out-of-school access to digital learning resources.

The Digital Learning Equity Act of 2015 helps ensure that all students have broadband connectivity.
