The FCC announced they will host a webinar on January 24, 2017, 2pm EDT in order to educate state and local government officials on the impact of the Universal Service Fund Programs. The webinar will include information on the Connect America Fund, E-rate, Rural Healthcare and Lifeline. The FCC presenter will be Jonathan Lechter, Special Counsel, Wireline Competition Bureau. The event will explain “…how the programs are funded and how the funds are distributed. It will also include an opportunity to pose questions to Commission staff about the Universal Service Fund.”
