Recently, Funds For Learning reported that applicants will be able to file the Funding Year 2019 version of the FCC Form 470 using USAC’s E-rate Productivity Center as of July 1, 2018. Currently, there are 150 Form 470’s already posted and several are large districts or even statewide opportunities are available for service providers to respond to. As FY2018 funding commitments are continuing to be released, service providers are also encouraged to file their Form 473 (Service Provider Annual Certification) as neither the service provider nor the customer can receive reimbursement until the form is processed.
USAC will be conducting an E-rate 101 webinar on July 18, 3pm ET. This will be a good avenue for stakeholders to learn the basics of the E-rate program. Stakeholders can register for the webinar here.
