On November 30, 2020, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai announced his intent to leave the FCC on January 20, 2021. Stating that serving at the FCC was “the honor of a lifetime,” Pai expressed gratitude for FCC staff, whom he called “the agency’s best assets.”
