As of January 14, 2021, the total count of Forms 470 posted for Funding Year 2021 stood at 12,736. The number of Category Two postings is up sharply from FY2020, while the number of Category One postings is down slightly. In total, more than 28,000 Form 470s are expected to be submitted. The forms notify vendors when schools and libraries are interested in procuring goods and services that qualify for E-rate discounts. Applicants have until February 25, 2021, to release requests for competitive bids and still meet the March 25, 2021, E-rate funding request deadline.
