The second ECF filing window opens September 28, 2021 and closes October 13, 2021. Eligible schools and libraries can submit requests for funding to purchase eligible equipment and services between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022. On September 14, 2021, USAC announced that all existing incomplete ECF Form 471 applications will be cancelled in advance of the opening of the second ECF filing window. Applicants are encouraged to copy or download any information they wish to retain from an existing incomplete Form 471 application by the end of the day, September 24, 2021. Furthermore, applicants are urged to start planning now to determine the devices and services needed for the students, school staff, or library patrons who have unmet needs at respective school or library
