On September 22, 2021, twenty-five Senators sent a letter to President Biden emphasizing support for the President to appoint Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel to a full term as FCC Commissioner and designate her the first female permanent Chair. In the letter, the Senator’s mentioned that, “…Her continued leadership as Acting Chair has already demonstrated she will be successful at the job, and further delays will unnecessarily imperil our shared goal of achieving ubiquitous broadband connectivity.”
