On December 21, 2022, USAC announced that the Funding Year 2023 Form 471 application filing window will open at noon ET on Wednesday, January 18 and close at 11:59pm ET on March 28. The window will be open for 69 days.
Because the filing window closes on March 28, the last date that a Form 470 may be posted while still leaving the required 28 days for competitive bidding will be Tuesday, February 28. Applicants are encouraged not to wait until the last day to start their procurement processes.
USAC also announced that the administrative window (the time period during which applicant profile details like enrollment and NSLP information may be updated) will close at 11:59pm ET on Monday, January 16, noting that updating profile information will “ensure a smoother filing process and more timely review” of submitted applications.
