$866 Million in ECF Commitments at Risk

Monday, October 30, 2023 marks a major invoice deadline in the Emergency Connectivity Fund program. As of October 20, almost $866 million has been committed but not yet disbursed. Of the 12,359 ECF funding requests with the October 30 deadline, 6,108 have not yet seen any funds disbursed:

Unlike the E-rate program, ECF rules do not allow applicants or service providers to request extensions of the invoice deadline. Program participants are encouraged to file their invoices as soon as possible.
