E-rate applicants nationwide certified 4,788 FCC Forms 470 before December 1, marking a five-year high in early Forms 470. On average, approximately 80% of Forms 470 annually are certified between December 1 and the last date to timely certify.
Of particular note is the rising trend of early Category Two procurements, which has risen steadily since Funding Year 2020. Applicants are encouraged to certify Forms 470 as early as possible to allow adequate time for procurement and reduce the chance of last-minute funding applications.
