On March 11th, 2024, USAC issued an update regarding BEAR denials that were originally issued for reimbursements requests that had a last date to invoice of February 27th and were filed on that same day.
USAC has canceled the replacement BEARs that were initially intended to rectify the February 27th denials due to complications with the proposed solution. The reprocessing of these replacement BEARs was scheduled for Thursday, March 14th. It is essential for impacted applicants to log in to the EPC Portal and monitor the invoicing dashboard for the status of these replacement BEAR forms.
USAC has not communicated directly with applicants regarding the cancellation of the original replacement BEARs. However, affected applicants may receive an acknowledgement letter for the replacement BEAR, as well as a notification letter that confirms that it was processed and the amount to be disbursed.
