On March 28, 2024, the Universal Service Administrative Company submitted their annual demand estimate to the Federal Communications Commission. Based on “applications received on or before March 27, 2024,” USAC estimates the total demand for FY2024 to be $3.239 billion. They report that $1.921 billion was requested to support Category One purchases, and $1.318 billion for Category Two.
