In the 2023 E-rate Trends Report, 93% of the survey responses indicated that applicants believe that E-rate should provide support for comprehensive network security.
When asked which services should qualify for funding, a majority indicated that next-generation firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and content/malware filtering all should be eligible.
