On May 2, 2024, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released an order announcing newly appointed members to two key joint boards: the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service and the Federal-State Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations.
In part, the order stated, “…the Commission appoints the Honorable Mary Pat Regan, Commissioner of the Kentucky Public Service Commission, to the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service. Additionally, the Commission appoints the Honorable Karen Charles, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Cable, along with the Honorable Mary Pat Regan, the Honorable Maida J. Coleman of the Missouri Public Service Commission, and the Honorable Steven M. DeFrank, Chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, to the Federal-State Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations.”
