Funds For Learning is proud to support the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) as a corporate member. We are excited to be attending SETDA’s annual Leadership Summit & Ed Forum in Washington, DC October 27-30! The agenda is packed with sessions that align with FFL’s mission of transforming student lives, from closing the digital access divide to cybersecurity to leadership and advocacy.
We will be hosting a session at 2:15 EDT on October 27 entitled Expanding Connectivity: E-rate’s Role in Bridging the Digital Divide. John Harrington and Cathy Cruzan will examine the FCC’s recent efforts to close the digital divide by making school bus Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot lending programs eligible for E-rate support. We will also cover the latest updates and best practices for the FCC’s cybersecurity Pilot program, with an eye toward the future of the E-rate program.
