This week, I had the privilege of attending the High Performance Boards Program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Thanks to the support of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), I joined leaders from around the world to discuss how to build more effective boards and stronger leadership teams.
The program was packed with insights on governance, leadership strategies, and creating long-term value. It was a great reminder that no matter where we are in our careers, there’s always more to learn. I’m grateful for the opportunity to invest in my own growth, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned to better support my work at Funds For Learning, as well as my roles on the boards of CoSN and EO.
Why Professional Development Matters
Investing in professional development is crucial—not just for personal growth but for the growth of our organizations. At Funds For Learning, we believe that encouraging continuous learning benefits both the individual and the team as a whole. When leaders take the time to learn and develop, they set a strong example and inspire others to do the same.
Through this experience, I’ve gained new perspectives that will help me make a greater impact not only at FFL but also in my board roles with CoSN and EO. I’m thankful to EO for making this opportunity possible and for reinforcing the value of ongoing development.
