With an increase over the last two weeks, the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) issued $117 million in funding commitments on May 19. Even more significant for those seeking discounts on internal connections was the lowering of the cutoff for that category to 85 percent, down from 86 percent. The threshold could still drop lower as the SLD continues to issue funding commitments; however, it is not expected to dip lower than 81 percent.
Funding commitments for Program Year Three total more than $507 million to date. The SLD has only committed about 22.5 percent of the maximum amount available in the first six waves.
