SLD Commits Another $13.9 Million for 2003

The Schools and Libraries Division announced on July 9 that it will send out 77 commitment letters next week, authorizing over $13.9 million for funding year 2003. These latest funding commitments pertain both to Priority One discounts and Priority Two (internal connections) at the 70-90 percent discount level. This most recent wave (#33) brings the SLD’s total funding year 2003 commitments to more than $2.6 billion. 33,700 commitment letters have been released so far for funding year 2003. The SLD will continue to issue additional commitment letters until the process is complete.
