On September 13 the SLD committed $1,185,328.64 in wave 33 and sent letters notifying 36 applicants and 5 service providers the status of their 2004 funding requests. Most of the funded requests were Puerto Rico applicants whose service provider is the Hispanic Information & Telecommunications Network (HITN). The SLD still has $291,735,724 pending in 2004.
