With the latest 2005 funding wave the SLD has now committed over $1 billion. The SLD released a $26 million 2005 funding wave this week notifying 660 applicants and 568 service providers about the status of their 2005 requests. The funding wave committed $2 million in internal connections requests and a little over $7 million for basic maintenance requests at the 90% discount rate. There is no indication when the SLD will start issuing internal connections requests below 90%. The SLD still has $2 billion pending for 2005.
The SLD also released a small 2004 funding wave committing $129,000. There is $275 million pending for the 2004 funding year.
