E-rate Applicants Focus Group Now Forming
We are also seeking E-rate applicants from across the country to take part in a focus group that will ask questions about opinions of the E-rate program. Members of this focus group should be people with at least one year of experience with all phases of the E-rate process.
This research will use an online discussion room, called EDRoom, which is modeled after a traditional focus group—to generate group interaction. As with a traditional focus group, a moderator will present questions for discussion. A key advantage over a traditional focus group is that the online discussion will take place over a week, and you'll have flexibility as to when and where you'll participate. You can participate by reading and typing at a computer—without ever leaving your seat, at a time that is convenient to you.
Focus group members are asked for their active participation and a commitment of 2-3 hours spread out over the course of the weeklong discussion. The focus group is slated to take place the week of April 7, 2008.
If you are an E-rate applicant and are interested in taking part in this focus group, please e-mail FocusGroup@FundsForLearning.com by April 1, 2008. In the e-mail please provide your name, your organization’s name, your Billed Entity Number, and a brief explanation of your E-rate experience.
