The USAC Schools and Libraries Committee held a non- Quarterly Board Meeting on September 22, and are recommending to the FCC that they start funding priority two applications at 85% and above. According to a Funds For Learning analysis, this decision would directly impact 2,817 applicants and 1,312 service providers totaling over $1.25 billion. It typically takes a few weeks for the FCC to approve that recommendation and it is difficult to predict where the final priority two discount threshold will land.
