USAC issued the 46th funding wave of Funding Year 2010 on April 12, 2011, bringing the total committed amount for FY2010 closer to the $2.5 billion mark.
Funding Wave 046 included commitments for both Priority One and Priority Two requests , totaling over $14.7 million for 330 approved funding requests. This latest funding wave represented 86 applicants, averaging $171,553.47 per approved applicant request and 159 service providers, averaging $92,789.92 per approved request. Sixty-three requests were denied in Wave 046, totaling $4.73 million.
Funding commitments for Funding Year 2010 are quickly approaching the $2.5 billion mark. The total committed amount for FY2010 to date is $2.44 billion.
