Funding commitments for Funding Year 2010 surpassed the $2.5 billion mark on May 16, 2011 with Funding Wave 050. USAC released the fiftieth funding wave of FY10, approving $22.25 million in requests. Funding wave 050 included 567 approved requests from 130 applicants, averaging $171,124.21 per applicant. The wave also approved 227 service provider requests averaging $98,000.65 per request. The wave included the denial of 128 requests, totaling $16.98 million.
