On November 22, 2011, USAC officially announced the opening and closing dates of the E-rate Funding Year 2012 Form 471 filing window. The filing window will open at noon EDT on Monday, January 9, 2012 and close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
Applicants will have 72 days in which to file their applications for funding for the upcoming E-rate funding year. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 is the last date on which a Form 470 may be filed in time to be referenced on a Funding Year 2012 request.
