On March 15, 2012, the Federal Communications Commission notified former Superintendent Dennis Bruno of Glendale Public Schools in Pennsylvania that he will be debarred from participating in the E-rate program for a three-year period. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Bruno “…agreed and stipulated that he conspired with others to obtain E-Rate Program money in the amount of $414,421.92….” Stakeholders can view individuals and corporations who have been suspended or debarred from participating in the E-rate program here.
