On March 7, 2014, the FCC notified the SLD that they have approved the FY 2014 Program Integrity Assurance Procedures (PIA). This FCC action leads the way for the SLD to start reviewing the FY2014 Form 471’s that have been received to date. Last year the FCC approved the SLD’s PIA’s Form 471 application procedures on May 10, 2013 which was well after the FY2013 Form 471 window closed.
As of March 7, 2014, 12,802 FY2014 Form 471’s have been received by the SLD for 8,796 applicants totaling $666.9 million.
