On June 13, 2017, President Trump announced his intent to nominate Jessica Rosenworcel to another five-year term to serve as one of the FCC Commissioners. Jessica Rosenworcel had previously served as FCC Commissioner from 2012 to January 2017 and was an ardent supporter of the E-rate program. Once she is confirmed by the Senate, the FCC will have four active Commissioners. President Trump will still need to nominate one additional Commissioner.
